Living the easy life (Leo & Erik)

[Desiree']

Erik walked down to his dungeon common room and sat down on the green leather couch. He sighed in relief as he got settled in. He wasn't much for reading, and homework didn't sound like something he would want to do at the moment.

I guess just a nice sit would be nice since he was always running around now.

[Erika]

Leo had been in the dormitory trying to work on homework, but found it very complicated to try to study when he was so relaxed in his bed. He walked down the stairs into the common room and saw sitting on one of the green leather couches.

He walked over to him and threw down his books loudly on the table by the couch and sat next to Erik.

"Hey man. How's life treating you?"

"Hey Leo, I'm pretty good, what about you?" Erik asked as Leo sat down next to him.

He liked Leo, except he could really tick people off. Erik usually just went along with him, but sometimes like at Transfiguration with Kara, he decided to act out against Leo.

"Leo, I have to ask you, why do you pick on Katie so much? She really is a good person, and you really ruffle her feathers."

[Erika]

Leo could tell something was bothering Erik before he spoke. He didn't really know how to answer that question. Maybe honesty was just the best possible thing here.

"Well Erik, I don't intentionally 'ruffle her feathers', as you put it. When I saw her on the black lake the first time we met, she was crying, and you know how I am about crying women. Then we just started talking and I could tell she got me. Even when we are fighting she still got me, and that's so rare. Especially for a girl to get me. I know she is dating that Hufflepuff bloke, but I can't help but think...maybe she should dump him and go with me."

Erik was completely shocked at what came out of his mouth.

"ARE YOU INSANE LEO?!?" Erik said loudly jumping off the couch.

"Dude, you know she is very happy with Ethan. How could you want her to break up with him so she could go out with you? You don't know her at all, because if you did you would never ask her to do that."

[Erika]

Leo was instantly mad. "Well if she was so happy with him, then why are the two of you running around behind his back! It sounds like you just want Kara all to yourself and your just trying to keep others away from her!"

Leo knew that was what Erik was up to. Erik had to like Kara more than just a friend, and was trying to keep Leo away from the things he wanted.

Erik got up and got in Leo's face. "It's not like that! Were friends, and I can't believe what trash is coming out of your mouth! Kara and I are only friends, and it doesn't matter because she doesn't like you after the way you treated her, and I can't blame her. You kiss her than call her a slut! What kind of person does that?" Erik yelled at him.

He couldn't believe this is what Leo was saying. It was bad enough that other people thought Kara and Erik were cheating, and now he had to hear about it from his friend.

"Leo you have lost your mind. Think about what your saying. Get a grip man."

[Erika]

Erik had got in Leo's face and yelled at him. He didn't like that, but started to let Erik's words sink in. He took a step back from Erik. "Okay Erik!" Leo said loudly.

"So your friends, that doesn't change much for me. Do you really expect me to just say 'oh okay man'. Like I said before, there's something she just gets about me." Leo said shrugging.

He didn't know what he was saying. He knew Kara and her boyfriend were really happy together, but Leo didn't care about that, he wanted to be happy.

Erik instantly felt bad for yelling at Leo. "Leo, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have got in your face like that. You have to move on man. She's happy with someone else. There are plenty of other women in this place." Erik said gently.

He was just now realizing that Leo was still sensitive, behind his nasty demeanor.

[Erika]

Leo sighed and shook his head. "I know. Is there anyone you suggest?" Leo asked sarcastically.

Kara wasn't really the girl he wanted to be with, but the fact that he couldn't have her made Leo want her even more. Maybe Erik was right, maybe he did need to go find a girlfriend.

Erik took a deep breath and looked around the common room. There were still people looking at them from their shouting match but pretty much everyone had gone back to their own lives.

He took a step closer to Leo. "Hey, what about Claire. I believe she's single, and she seems like a good person. You should talk to her, I think she is hanging around here somewhere." Erik suggested.

[Erika]

Claire, oh she was good looking. Maybe he should just talk to her, get a feel of her personality.

"Wow Erik, maybe you are a useful mammal to have around." He said with a smile.

"I think I will talk to her, do you know where she is exactly? I don't want to go running around actually looking for her, people might talk."

[Desiree']

Erik shrugged. "I'm not sure, but if you ask someone I'm sure they will know."

He laughed loudly. "I'm a useful mammal huh? Well I'm glad I'm here for your amusement." Erik said rolling his eyes.

"Are you planning on going to this spring dance thing?"

[Erika]

The dance. Leo had heard about it, but wasn't sure weather he wanted to go to something so girly.

Leo shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not sure. Maybe I can ask Claire to go."

Leo wasn't sure weather he really wanted to go to a dance, but of course to dance, he would be standing next to a girl who would look very pretty in a dress. Leo did like a woman in a dress.
